Easter fun
This afternoon we had the much looked forward to visit from the Easter bunny! This was great fun and the children loved looking for their name and claiming the chocolate. The class winner was Reece who found his name with the very first ball he picked up.
Thank you for all your support during a very busy term. We wish you all a lovely restful break.
Where did you get that hat?
Well done to everyone who decorated a hat for the Easter bonnet parade. We loved looking at them. Our class winners were Heidi and Ashton .
Celebration assembly
There was a lot to celebrate this week . There were golden stickers for Carra, Jess, Olivia and Rosie and book marks for great reading at home for Serenity, Shanae and Lauren. We also celebrated the progress in reading of Rubyann and Ollie.
Congratulations to Lauren who won the Easter colouring competition organised by the kitchen and to Reece who won the lucky dip prize in Owls for children who took part in the Big Pedal.

Big pedal breakfast
We had a great turn out for the big breakfast........ We can't believe how much food the children ate! Well done for riding and cycling to school-keep it up!
Owls Class poem 'Engine, Engine'
This week in literacy we have been looking at the poem 'Engine Engine'. We then wrote our own poems basing them around traditional tales. We came up with a class poem using the lines written by the children. We thought you might like to see how we got on !

Swimming gala
What a brilliant morning!! The children had a fantastic time. They swam their little hearts out and behaved immaculately . The gala was the brainchild of Mrs Gazzard so we extend a huge thank you to her for all the hard work in organising it. Thank you for all your support in spectating too!

Stay and play numeracy games
The children really enjoyed this session. I was so impressed not only with the maths skills but how well the children co-operated with each other. House points all round! Thank you to the grown ups who came and played with us.
