What's missing?

Thus week we have been looking at the features of instructions. Today we have been sequencing them and have looked to see if any steps are missing. How do you think we got on?

Thank you!

Thank you for all the contributions of bottles and chocolate. The Christmas Fair is on Friday 5th December at 3.00. See you there!

Ice

Today we started planning our ice investigation to find out what happens to ice when we put it in different places around the school. The children had lots of great ideas. Ask them how we are going to make it a fair test.

Penny collection

Thank you to everyone who sent coins for our collection.  As you can see we filled the map. During assembly Mrs Jackson showed the children pictures of the Rethkagile  school in Zinguela in South Africa. We were then lucky enough to be able to speak to Dem from the school on FaceTime and ask her questions.

Celebration assembly

Golden stickers this week for Ollie, Shanae, Henry, Jack P and Jamie and bookmarks for Freddie, Clark and Heidi. Well done!

Performing our dance

This morning the children put together their final bonfire dances in groups. Each group chose  a leader and Harry, Ben, Shanae, Ollie and Annabelle did a great job holding it all together.
We gave a final performance to Mrs Chant who was very impressed!

Numeracy games

The children really enjoyed trying out the games and are already telling me which ones they want to borrow on Friday. Thank you to the parents who came. There will be more sessions after Christmas.

Bonfire dance

We have been inspired by firework displays we have been to and have been trying out creative dance ideas.

School council fair

Don't forget this event is tomorrow. Children can bring in £2 and will then get 7 tokens so they will be able to have a go on all the stalls. The Owls have had fun preparing our hook a fish stall and have tried it out this afternoon.
